You Drink That?

There is a new anti-smoking commercial from the group Truth.  This is the one that connects chemicals found in cigarettes with chemicals found in waste materials.

For those who haven’t seen it, in the advertisement, the group has set up a large display with two messages on it.  One states, “Methane is found in dog poop and cigarette smoke.”  The other reads, “Urea is in cat pee and also found in cigarettes.”  A question is then posed: which is uglier.  Based on responses to the question a large, stuffed dog or cat eliminates into a tube.

After seeing the ad, my first thought was that water, which is a chemical too, can be found in both dog poop and cat pee.  You drink that?  Nasty!

Try again, Truth.  Next time, come up with a better idea.
